We’re excited to officially announce our two new locations, Teton Village and Bozeman/Belgrade, Montana! We wanted to give you all the pertinent info for our Bear Aware network locations in the region so your trip planning is that much easier! Below you’ll find info for each of our pickup locations as well as the list of our drop-off only locations! Our bear spray rental prices are the same at each of these pickup locations. No matter where you pick up, you’ll get the same great rates!
Jackson, Wyoming:
Bear Aware and Teton Backcountry Rentals HQ is pretty much the gateway to Grand Teton and Yellowstone National Parks. You’ll literally pass us on your way to either park from Jackson. It’s the perfect pickup location if you’re heading into either park from the south entrances!

Teton Village:
The STOKE is high for our new Teton Village location! The convenience for so many of you is why we’ve worked hard with our new partners at The Four Seasons to get set up for the 2024 season! You’ll find the friendly Concierge staff ready to give you the knowledge and training for confidence in your Backcountry adventures!

Jackson Hole Airport:
Flying into Jackson Hole? We make renting bear spray soooo easy! You’ll find our Jackson Hole Airport Kiosk next to Baggage claim #3! Our quick yet thorough training and rental process could even be done while you wait for your bags! Zero delays on your adventure!

Old Faithful:
Old Faithful doesn’t need an introduction! It is the most visited site in Yellowstone! You’ll find our Bear Aware pickup location in the West Yurt (#1), located on the northwest corner of the Old Faithful East Parking Lot, next to the Yellowstone Tribal Heritage Center.
Opening Day: May 25th

Canyon Village:
With an almost overwhelming variety of wildlife spotting, hiking, camping, etc, Canyon Village is a must-adventure area in Yellowstone! Our Kiosk is located right next to the Visitor Center.

West Yellowstone:
If you’re entering Yellowstone from the West Entrance or doing some exploring around West Yellowstone, stop by our partner shop Freeheel and Wheel to rent your bear spray. The shop is right near the Park entrance!

Big Sky: (Hey Bear)
Fishing in Big Sky? Don’t forget to stop by Hey Bear to get bear spray! They also have some great merch like SCAT belts for your bear spray, if you don’t want to use the holster we send with our rentals. Bear spray and cool souvenirs in one stop? Heck yeah!

If you’re flying out Bozeman after your trip, our convenient 24hr drop box on your way to the airport makes returning your bear spray easy! Its at the entrance of the parking lot of the Central Valley Fire District Station 1 (the Fire Department)!
